Queensday attack O.o

You know thats it's Queensday here in Holland right..
The royal family is visiting a city and everyone wears orange stuff and all
Its very fun to watch on the live tevlevion
So There was a festifity in Apeldoorn (city) this year
And the Royal family was in an open bus waving at the people and all at a crossroads.. (if thats the right word? )

anyhow, despite all the security and stuff, some dude with a small suzuki, drove through some gates, right into the crowd, heading towards the bus with the Royal family at the crossroads. Luckily something went wrong and he ran into a statue, called the Needle...
14 people were heavily wounded and 1 is probably already dead...

If you watch closely, you can see right in the beginning in the lower left corner a few peole flying in the air, and watch a little later, just before the car hits the statue, that a cop on a bycycle was a few inches away from being smashed into the statue...

So xD erhmmi dunno i thought it would be interesting to tell you guys whats going on in my country today...

It is said that the suzuki tried to enter the city hours before but he got send away by the cops.. clearly he tried again, with succes

So what do you guys think... was it on purpose or was it perhaps an attack on our Royal Family?

anyway... thatssome cruel thing.... many ppl got hurt... and you said 1 even might be dead... if he hadnt driven into the needle... it could have gotten worse... =/

erhmmm small update.. 4 people are dead, 5 heavily wounded and 8 normal wounded...

and he wasnt muslim he was just an ordinary dutch 38 year old dude...
and they said that there were indications that he did it on purpose...
